Many shifters leave the factory lubricated with a form of cosmoline. Over time, this grease dries, thickens, and acts as a glue, freezing the small components within the ratchet mech inside the shifter body. This service includes a disassembly, complete flush with solvents (charged as materials and parts) and re-lubrication with re-installation and derailer adjustment included. Depending on the system, cables may be replaced according to need.

Full disassembly and cleaning of bearing system. Inspection of parts, replacement of worn of damaged components, lubrication and re-assembly.
Proper cleaning and chasing of frame head tube and preparation of the head tube faces. The headset is pressed into the frame; bearing system and fork assembly are installed and adjusted.

A receiver must be pre-installed before we can assemble and install the rear rack to the hitch receiver. Receiver installation is not service that we offer.
